Combo for one? More like enough for a family. This portion is huge and everything in it is excellent. Lady working was also very friendly. Certainly will return and would recommend!

The Mau Lam restaurant waa excellent! This was our first time eating here. It's much like many Chinese restaurants in small town Alberta. It is kind of nice in that they have many photos of their children and kids who have worked there. A very homey, warm place. There were two pieces of artwork, lacquer with mother of pearl, horses and one of the Great Wall, we wish we had then at home, just lovely. Our server was friendly, and helpful. We had both had Egg Rolls, my wife ordered the mild Ginger Chicken Hotpot (15), I had the spicy Seafood Hotpot(18.) Both meals were superb, perfect spiciness, lots of ginger chunks, delish! I look forward returning in the future.

So we're from out of town and decided to just get away for the weekend. Boyfriend decided he wanted Chinese so we went to Mau Lam and let me tell you for a Saturday night dinner with the family it was great. The waitress was fantastic she put two chairs together for our baby's car seat to sit in. Our food portions were huge but absolutely delicious and we had to get them to go because we couldn't finish them. Our waitress offered to give us plastic cutlery since we were staying in a hotel and she gave us a bag for us to carry the rest of our food out which we didn't even ask for. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back the next time we're in town. Now we have to go rest from our food comas

Know that you're getting smallish town chinese-canadian food and you won't be disappointed. The hot and sour soup, especially, was done well as many other places fail to get this dish right. A large, enjoyable order was filled promptly and accurately.

Stopped here for lunch on way home from Edmonton to Saskatchewan. Ordered beef n greens, sweet n sour pork and chow mein. It came quickly. Was piping hot and delicious and huge portions. We both stuffed ourselves and left with 3 full containers of left overs. The place could use a coat of paint and re fresh but it was the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely stop in our travels again.

This is some of the best chinese food you can find in Alberta. Pricing is amazing, portions are amazing, taste is amazing. From the home made sweet and sour and lemon sauce, to the jumbo sized egg rolls, you cannot go wrong stopping in to get something here. I dont often come to Vermilion but when I do. I eat here. Hands down my favourite chinese food.
